The experience

The Table of Whispers is an interactive installation that invites visitors to free up important words from Quebec history by quickly flipping through the pages of a book. By this action, the words are released on a screen under the books and the visitor accesses the literary content in animated version. Flip through and watch!

Originally designed for the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, it allows visitors to familiarize themselves with the literary content of three major artistic manifestos and important correspondences in the history of art in Quebec, thanks to an original device by connected books that enliven the furniture in the room.

The device

The Tables of Whispers is an interactive installation that highlights a literary experience through digital technology by creating a collective and physical reading experience. The device can serve a multitude of words and tones and easily adapts to different content (literature, photography, maps, etc.) not necessarily easy to present in a museum or exhibition. Another way for institutions to open their heritage to the public.
